I thought maybe it was something they were toying around with for GW2 the skill descriptions.I will probably use concise seeing as how they went to all the trouble.

Where do you report English description bugs?
For example Drunken Master's description has "Your" instead of "You"

Lots of these consider descriptions are stupid or sound like someone with asthma pausing in random places.
Besides, I love descript descriptions! Let's put lore behind each skill description lololololol.
In all seriousness, I'm sure some will prefer it, though it didn't streamline the descriptions THAT much. Mostly it just killed all the conjunctions.
At least I finally got ma Zaishen Keyz.

I want my pinged target, to have a damn number back in team chat please, that is all. On a more related note, guess Anet saw a need into rewording skill descriptions, because after 3 years people still may not understand them.

HEY EVERYBODY LETS ALL HAVE AN ORGASM BECAUSE OF THESE NEW SKILL DESCRIPTIONS. Ffs, they are just skill descriptions, reading more doesn't hurt you.

I dont see any need for the concise descriptions. You need to know the further details if you're going to use the skill properly. That said, sure, its not an update to complain about. Just wondering where it came from and why. Nice having the option, but it would also be nice to have some of the other requests that we've all read about worked on.
Anyway, that said, props to Anet for continuing to do new things for GW rather than let it sit and spin.

I really like the concise descriptions. Still looking them over.

Agreed, I wonder what the policy will be now with the wiki for skill descriptions.
Oh well, I'll keep it in "classic mode." Doesn't really matter to me since I can recognize all the skills by their icon now anyway.

If ANet is looking to avoid names that could cause confusion, here are a couple more they could look at:
There are now sword skins in the game named Emerald Blade and Emerald Edge. They might want to consider changing the name of one of those.
White Mantle Ritualists. They're not ritualists at all (in the "professional" GW sense).

Yeah where's the nerf to Rangers interupts? <grin> I'd rather read nerfs myself than fixes and stuff, I love the QQing afterwards. <grin>

I was reading through the update notes and I was crossing off my mental checklist as I went along:
Skill Description changes --- Don't care
Bug Fixes --- None of them bothered me before, so --- Don't care
Renaming certain weapon skins --- Hmmm, further investigation required
- White Scythe to White Reaper --- Meh. Fine by me.
- Dragon Scythes to Dragon Kamas --- OMG EPIC FAIL!!
So, yeah, I have to agree with you there.

well that's your opinion, I personally am partial to the new reaver name, especially considering the axe never even looked remotely like a scythe to begin with

Reaver is fine, but Kamas, though very accurate from what I've just googled, is a god-awful name for once cool weapons.
Just a name I suppose, but I wish the daggers had received the Reaver label, too. Dragon Reavers - I could have lived with that.

Yes they can. Happened last night. What a pain in the ###!
The worse is when you try to draw the dude over to the one area you can hurt him through the gate and he just walks away. Pull, walks away... Pull, walks away. hahahaha
I am just glad that they fixed the tower mage. That was bugging me like crazy.

Nice Update.
I can see how usefull the new skill disciptions are for some people, namely a buddy of mine that often gets confused with the skill description.

Meh, a boring update. But im surprised about the addition of the skill descriptions. I never imaginated that. I think Anet is giving up skill nerfing...for a while.
